Eye doctor

Whitlee's eye appointment went well. She should be able to see well. Her left eye has a partial lacrimal duct occlusion. This is NO worry. I was taught some techniques to try when she cries. It should resolve itself. She got the "perfect eyes of the day" award. YEAH!

Sleeping well

Whitlee always sleeps 7-9hours straight. The past few nights she has been sleeping 10-11hrs straight without waking up. YEAH! I love it. I got 8hours of sleep. I couldn't believe it! -Ashlee

Four month check-up

Whitlee went for her 4month check today. She weighed 11lbs 8oz. Her length was 23 1/4". She is in the 14% for weight and 17% for height. She does eat but maybe she is just going to be petite? We'll have to wait and see. She did well with her shots. No fever or anything this time! YEAH! We hope to sched. surgery soon! -Ashlee

Whitlee has been doing so much lately. As of the last week, she can hold both of her feet, laugh out loud, and grab her rattle when she wants too. It's unbelievable how they do everything at one time. She is trying to roll over. She doesn't quite have that down yet. I'm sure that she will keep working on that. I place her on the couch with the boppie around her. She seems fascinated by everything. She LOVES it. I think that she would rather sit up that anything else?

I love watching her. She is doing this thing now of crying when she wants out of her swing. O.K but when I walk towards her she stops and starts smiling. "Gee!!!!!!!!- They sure catch on quick". She is always looking around for me if I'm not holding her. Wow, I never imagined I'd be in the place where I am now. It is truly a blessing. She has taught me more that I could ever imagined possible.

I hope everyone is well. I will post as soon as I know the date of her surgery.

Happy Valenitnes Day

We hope that everyone has a wonderful Valentine's Day! Whitlee is growing and doing well. We had to cancel her surgery. Hope to resched. soon!

Special delivery

Sadness

I am so sad! My father, Whitlee's grandfather, (Stephen) was killed in an automobile accident Friday Feb.1st. The funeral is Tuesday 11:00AM at Chetam county funeral home. He will be burried at the TN cemetary in Pegram. Military service starts at 1:00. Please pray for those people still fighting for their lives. We are praying for them and their families.
This is one of the most difficult things that I've EVER had to do. I ask God for the strength to get me through. Love, Ashlee :~)
