"I found my feet!"

Whitlee has found her feet. When she catches a glimpse of them she won't take her eyes off of them. I, of course, think it is too cute. Also, here is a picture of Whitlee with her first friend Ellie. It is past there bed time! HaHa! -Ashlee

We went to the mall this morning to get our walk in. Whitlee decided that she would sleep the whole time. She continues to eat well. I look forward to waking up each day to see her sweet smile. I can't wait until she is laughing out loud! -Ashlee

Whitlee enjoyed dressing up like Zella. We think? Zella usually wants nothing to do with Whitlee. I can't wait until they are chasing each other. around the house.

Two month check

Whitlee's appointment for her 2mo. check went well. Her weight was 9lbs. 9oz. She received three injections. She did run a low grade fever that night. She is in the 24 percentile in regards to her weight, and 47 percentile for length. Everything looks great right now. She did refer us to a pediatric opthamologist. She has some concerns about her vision. We'll see!

Whitlee is smiling

I am so excited. Whitlee has been smiling at me for about 6-7 days. Also she has discovered that she has a voice (for the past 4-5days). She will make a sound then smile. She will go on and on with this for hours it seems.
I know she will learn to love all of her toys; however, it appears that the ceiling fan is the best investment thus far. HaHa! I'll try to get a pic of one of her beautiful smiles! c-ya, Ashlee
